SinjukhinaAbstract We describe a field experiment where stationary horizontal vibrations were excited by a monochromatic horizontal vibrator. The purpose of the experiment was to check the feasibility of determining the velocity profile as a function of depth using Love mode characteristics for a fixed frequency source. Results of data processing are presented, which agree with results obtained by standard methods in general. Back to |
