Abstract

We present a method of statistical estimation of power $\alpha$ for low-frequency spectrum asymptotics $f(\lambda) \sim c/\lambda^{\alpha}$ for Gaussian and point processes. The method is applied to several geophysical processes: Earth's nutation, atmospheric pressure, and regional seismicity.
