On reconstructing density distribution of horizontally homogeneous liquid through wavenumbers and amplitudes of progressive surface waves Abstract The article describes a numerical method for reconstructing sufficiently smooth distributions of density and bulk modulus to a high accuracy. A horizontally homogeneous liquid medium is assumed. The reconstruction is obtained from wavenumbers and amplitudes of progressive surface waves excited by a monochromatic source at two distinctly different high frequencies. This work is an extension of previous studies of the authors. Back to |
